My goal as a therapist is to provide a compassionate and affirming space where clients feel empowered to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment. I believe therapy is a collaborative journey, and I strive to build genuine connections with my clients by being authentic, approachable, and transparent. Together, we work to process challenges, uncover strengths, and develop practical strategies that promote growth and healing.
I provide therapy to individuals aged 6 and up (child, adolescent, teen and adult) and family groups.
I approach therapy with empathy and adaptability, recognizing that each client’s journey is unique. While I primarily use reality therapy techniques and solution-focused methods, my style is rooted in flexibility and creativity, ensuring treatment aligns with each individual’s needs and goals. In addition, I have specialized training in Aggression Replacement Training (A.R.T.), which enhances my ability to help clients develop effective emotional regulation and social skills. I am committed to fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients feel heard, validated, and understood.
As a lifelong learner, I am passionate about staying current with advances in mental health care and evidence-based practices. My professional interests include exploring therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), play therapy, and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I believe that integrating these approaches allows me to provide comprehensive and tailored care that resonates with each client’s unique circumstances.
