It is my goal to provide a safe environment for my clients to express their feelings and explore their story. Human connection is a simple yet powerful gift you deserve, and as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I give my clients the space to examine and process their feelings. By building our therapeutic relationship, we can begin identifying your needs and values.
I know change can feel isolating, difficult, and even impossible at times, but I'm here to help. I believe everyone is capable of living the life they want and deserve, and sometimes we just need someone to walk with us, hear us and understand our struggle. I understand trust is essential when beginning and engaging in therapy and therefore promise to remain transparent and honest with you during the course of our therapeutic relationship.
I provide therapy to teens, young adults and adults. Each person is unique and I adjust my approach to meet each client's specific needs. In my approach, I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and principles of Internal Family Systems (IFS). I view every individual through an attachment, relational and systems lens. These approaches take into account the larger context of the client's life and the role they play in each system: school, work, relationships, society, etc.
As a therapist, I model and reinforce healthy communication while educating about positive coping skills and behaviors. I also enjoy incorporating mindful practice and self-awareness techniques. I am compassionate, and committed to providing the best care possible. I promise to participate in continuing education courses to provide you with the latest evidence-based treatment options.
I am also available to provide neurodiversity affirming and culturally informed Autism , ADHD and PTSD testing.
